Pathways to registration with the ARBV

Most people seeking to register as an architect in Victoria take the Architectural Practice Examination. It is conducted twice a year in all Australian states and territories. It is a 3-part examination that assesses your knowledge and understanding of the practice of architecture in Australia.

You may be eligible for the Experienced Practitioner Assessment pathway to registration, if you:

• have experience working on complex projects and completed a relevant architectural degree in Australia or in another country
• you were registered as an architect overseas.
